CNP SCHOOL COMPLEX – HAUT-KATANGA

Objective: To provide a functional and sustainable learning space for disadvantaged students and youth.

Project includes: construction or renovation of an equipped classroom, appropriate furniture, educational resources, and training for local staff on the use of the facilities.
Expected results: improved attendance and academic performance, a shift towards quality education within the community, and strengthened local capacity for facility maintenance.
Beneficiaries: students (children and youth), teachers, and families in the community.
Lasting impact: creation of a safe and sustainable learning environment that promotes educational equity.

1️⃣ General Information
Area: 3 hectares

Location: Near the CNP Children's Home, Haut-Katanga, DRC

Target Beneficiaries: Orphaned children, vulnerable children, local community

School Levels: Preschool (150 students), Primary (350 students), Secondary (400 students), Vocational Training Center

Objectives: Educational, community-based, social guidance

Improve access to quality education for vulnerable children

Provide a safe and suitable environment for children at the CNP Children's Home

Provide comprehensive training (academic, social, vocational)

Promote community inclusion and social cohesion

3️⃣ Objectives
Overall Objective
Provide comprehensive and inclusive education, from preschool to secondary school, with a training center for youth and adults, promoting success schooling and social integration. Specific Objectives

Provide classrooms adapted for each grade level

Develop specialized learning spaces: laboratories, library

Provide comprehensive services: cafeteria, restrooms, sports fields

Establish a qualified staff: teachers, administration, and administrative personnel

Ensure the social inclusion of orphaned and vulnerable children

Total capacity: 900 students

Flow management by grade level and building for safety and Organization

Separate entrances and exits for preschool, elementary, and secondary school

Sports and recreational areas accessible according to age groups
